Harry Lightfoot
HARRY LIGHTFOOT JAZZ BAND
Harry studied and obtained his degree in Jazz saxophone at The Birmingham Conservatoire. He has since worked with some top UK soul bands, 'SoulPower' and V.I.P.' and has been involved in productions at the internationally renowned theatre company The Chicken Shed.
In 2003 Harry formed the Harry Lightfoot jazz band. The current 6 piece band comprises of Harry on sax, Martyn Spencer on Bass, Pete Robertson on drums, Joe Archer on guitar, Jonny Mott on trumpet and Billy Boothroyd vocals.
The jazz band currently play around 50-60 live shows a year. Current tours dates can be found on www.myspace.com/harrylightfootmusic
As well as the formidable live performances, Harry has maintained a prolific song writing catalogue some of which he performs as lead singer in the band Farleigh.

Writing music is a large part of Harry's musical life and he composes for film (Sticks & Stones premiered at the G8 summit) and TV.
Harry is also currently working on a joint chillout/electronica album with world renowned jazz musician Julian Marc Stringle. Together they are known as Miprojekt.
